2. What kind of personal data does Quicargo use?
2.1. Registration Information
When registering for the Service you will be asked to provide personal information, such as (but not limited to): Full name, email address, phone number, Quicargo√ïs address and KVK number. You may have the option to enter information for optional data for personalization of publications and special offers.
2.2. User content
We may collect any information you upload and/or send and/or is generated through the service, including information about ordering services, quotes, placing orders, payments, directions and so on.
We may also collect names and phone numbers of truck drivers, location data and your GPS location as part of the service.
2.3. Payment details
Quicargo may offer the option to pay via a third-party service such as PayPal, iDeal, credit cards or similar payment services. Quicargo does not collect or store credit data or information on the means of payment. You may choose to allow Quicargo to store payment methods so you are not required to re-enter your payment method.
2.4. Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from third party sources and add it to your registration details. This information may include: updated information of the address and information from social networks depending on permissions you gave them.
2.5. Technical data and communications traffic
We use the log file that collects the information such as Internet Protocol (IP), information on browsers, mobile devices, cookies, Internet Service Providers (ISP), service usage patterns and characteristics of different pages referring / exit pages, type of platform, date/time stamp and the number and location of clicks on a page. Also, the service may make use of location information and/or GPS to track transport, updating the status of transportation and driver location and adjustment of operations and real-time publications from drivers. We also use a tracking service to log files of users to analyze user traffic and keep IP addresses for statistical aggregates.
3. Why does Quicargo use personal data?
3.1. Using targets
Quicargo uses personal data for: (1) the provision of the Service, (2) identification of the Client, (2) support for use of the Service, (3) contacting customer service for the purpose of giving and receiving feedback, (4) Data Analysis and Statistics; (5) customizing the content of the Service; (6) compliance with the law and investigating complaints, suspected fraud or misconduct.
3.2. Newsletter and mailing list
Quicargo uses email addresses and other contact information to send newsletters and other messages regarding the Service and for the purposes of customer service, management and service improvement. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by sending an email to email@example.com
4. When does Quicargo share personal data with third parties?
4.1. Maintaining public law and order
Although we make every effort to maintain your privacy, Quicargo may be required by law to disclose information you have provided when using the Service. Quicargo may also disclose information about people involved in accidents and/or loss of or damage to cargo, including insurance companies and/or investigating bodies, and information about people who threaten and/or may harm us, our users and/or our services (such as fraud on behalf of the users, sending threats, spam, etc.) or people whose actions could cause harm to others.
4.2. Subcontractors and service providers
We may share your information with service providers and subcontractors working with us and/or provide the ability to improve and develop our services. Likewise, we may store data in cloud service retainers which are located outside of the Netherlands. In addition, we may employ third-party trusted parties to help in distributing surveys, advertising and/or content. Finally, we may share the occasional information about the service usage with our service providers in order to analyze usage patterns and statistics.
4.3. Mergers and acquisitions
We may assign and endorse our rights and our obligations in the event of the sale and/or the event in which control is transferred from Quicargo to another entity.
In accordance with Dutch Data Protection legislation, Quicargo has taken reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access and the misuse of personal data. Access to personal data is allowed only to employees who need the information to perform specific tasks (for example, customer service representatives).
